Most of guys who take data from different people or use their PD in different computers of different users I think they are familiar with the shortcut virus, sometime all data in your pen drive turn to shortcut icons and you stuck their because data is in pen drive but not able to access it.
Today I will tell you a trick with DOS (Command Prompt) to remove this shortcut virus easily, without losing any data from PD. Without any third party application.
Follow these steps:
1: Plug your pen drive to PC.
2: open command prompt as administrator (to open press window key with R and type cmd, then press ctrl+shift+enter to run as admin OR type cmd at start menu and right click on it select run as admin)
3: type this line carefully:
attrib -H -R -S /S /D I:\*.*
(replace I with your pen drive letter)
4: press enter
And voila you have extracted data you can access it now in your pen drive.
